Young Women, what do you think about our 2018 theme – Peace in Christ?
“I asked God, ‘Why are you taking me through troubled water?’ He replied, ‘Because your enemies can’t swim.’”
There is always another perspective, God’s perspective.
God’s plan is not always clear to us at the time, but when we trust in Him, we can find peace in our trials.
There will be times in our lives when we feel the weight of the world upon us, times when we feel lonely and afraid, times when we don’t know what to do next.
It is especially in these times that we must turn to our Savior. Let Him bear our burdens and lighten our load.
It doesn’t matter how close or estranged you believe your relationship with Christ is. He truly knows every hair on your head.
There is nothing you will endure that He has not already endured. And He endured those pains and trials so that He could lift you up when your turn came.
He wants to help you,
to carry your baggage,
to free your shackles and calm your spirit.
You need only to ask.
In Isaiah 43:1-5, the Lord makes this promise,
“…Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior… Fear not: for I am with thee.”
I want to be a woman who trusts that God has a plan, even when I don’t understand. I want to find my peace in Christ.
